15 year olds are obviously much more intelligent than 10 year olds.
but NOBODY ever says "Pre-pubescent children are idiots"

It is very common however to see someone write "Teenagers are idiots"
as if they somehow unlearned large amounts of knowledge between ages 10 and 15.
