Is this really a case of a child being forced to grow up too fast?

Or is this a case of a young adult being forced to live as a child?

From like 13 to 53 you lose a lot in creativity but the things your brain does often, it does faster so, it's better and worse. and experience helps older people compensate for slower brains.

People seem to believe that sad downtrodden billionaires are being taxed 99.65% and the brave trickle-down soldiers are fighting to cut that to 99.3% When in reality they pay like 3% and progressives would like to see that rise to 10%.

Puritan tradition, conservative values, abstinence only, whatever we call it, it's a kind of enforced ignorance which creates enormous problems.

The term "teenager" is a linguistic thing which describes a mathematical thing. It has nothing to do with biology, psychology, or human development.

It is widely believed that adulthood begins at age 25 because it is widely believed that we are neurologically "fully developed" at 25.

Everyone "knows" that under 25s are children, but NOBODY ANYWHERE has EVER stopped them from being tried and imprisoned as adults?

puberty ends your childhood between 9 and 13 years of age.

laws decide when you stop being a minor.

There is no relationship between these two things.

Stage 1 is childhood Stage 5 is adulthood There is nothing after that. Once you hit 5, you're an adult. Puberty is only stages 2, 3, and 4.

Puberty no longer means you're entering an exciting new phase of life.

It now means you're entering a kind of purgatory where everyone will treat you like shit for years on end.

All throughout history 16 year olds were fighting wars and raising families and they did just fine. Recently in the USA suddenly everybody's retarded until they're 25. It's ridiculous bullshit and we all know it.

Your feelings are valid. but I'm not asking about them.

When I was 17 my boyfriend was 23. It was not problematic. Young women have every right to bodily autonomy, and social media randos have no right to any opinion on their choices.

I'm in favor of phone-free schools, but trying to ban things smart phones for under 14s is dumb. Our young peopole need more freedom not less. 

and practically speaking trying to enforce a social media prohibition on under 16s would be a useless embarrassing fiasco. 

Further the message it sends is insulting to young people. They'll all hear "You're too stupid to handle looking at Facebook" which is exactly the same degrading treatment that caused their giant mental health crisis in the first place.
