The idea is that women are subjugated by visual contact with men. Men see sexy bodies. Men, both gay and straight are aroused by sexy visual stimuli. This is in no way harmful to women.
Teens have always had sex. It would be absurd to outlaw that. It makes perfect sense that the age of consent is 14 or 15. Only recently have we started the bizarre delusion that everyone is a child until age 18 or 21 or 25 or 30.

Europe's very low teen pregnancy rates, nice low numbers of teens with STDs, and low ages of consent do not cause each other. Europe's respectful attitude toward young adults aged 13-18 cause all three.
The age of consent is 14 in Germany. It is 18 in California. Are the sex lives of 14-18 year olds radically different in these two places? Nope. Aside from being occasionally very cruel, age of consent laws don't really do anything.
We have a system that doesn't actually prepare children for real life, but one that artificially extends their childhood in order to avoid all possible "harm". It's a disaster.
One of these women is 27, so it is totally ok for you to see her boobs. But another is only 16, so you must pretend that she looks like she's 8. Never acknowledge that a 16 year old might have a nice figure. That would mean you're sexualizing her. 😀

Why does our society demand that we stay asexual while developing sexually? Other cultures celebrate new womanhood. It's a joyous occasion. By deciding that everyone has to be a child until they're 20 we have created a slew of insane stupid and intractable problems.
If you want to express yourself clearly and avoid confusion use the term "minor" for people under 18 and "child" for people before puberty. These are two very different groups of people. 17-year-olds have nothing in common with 7-year-olds.
