For thousands of years world religions have forbidden an amazing variety of things: eating pork/beef/seafood, showing/hiding body parts, hair styles, sexual practices, etc.

Nowhere anywhere in all that history has it ever occurred to any religion to ban age gap relationships. but American dorks in 2024 are like "Of course 17 year olds are small children. They can't date adults!!!"
