These morons have been teaching their sons and daughters that they will still be mentally small children at 20 years of age. They are creating a bizarre artificially extended childhood, totally unique in human history.

Never since the beginning of written records have young adults aged 14-20 been so demeaned, degraded, and infantilized.

Knowledge is accumulated over time. but on several types of cognitive test 13 year olds score better than any other age group. older brains compensate for decay by leveraging experience, but the 13-year-old brain is best.

Brains change very quickly during puberty 9-13 then very slowly for the rest of your life.

Coincidentally just like the rest of our bodies.

Physically our sons and daughters are developing faster than 50 years ago,

but due to helicopter parenting and the wave of insane infantilization of young adults, they are developing psychologically much slower.

A field of research that announces its bias before it even begins.

Teenagers are not children. You cannot protect children by abusing teenagers, infantilizing them, and taking away all their rights.

Puberty is the transformation of the entire person. Body and mind. 14 year olds finishing puberty have adult brains.

15 year olds are obviously much more intelligent than 10 year olds.

as if they somehow unlearned large amounts of knowledge between ages 10 and 15.

When I was 17 my boyfriend was 23 and everything was fine. It is shocking AF that today he could, in some states, get prison time for making love to me.
